These Terms define the rules for using the Chesswood platform at https://chesswood.top and related functions and services in platform domains. • Platform – the Chesswood website and its functions, services, game mechanisms, user account and digital elements.
• User – a person using the platform, account, game or Chesswood services.
• Chesswood Coins – a digital good available within the platform and used according to the current service rules.

Chesswood enables online chess games, account management, profile use, training features, digital elements, lobbies and other functions made available in the service.

Some features may require an account. The user should provide correct data, protect login credentials and not share the account with third parties.

Chesswood Coins are a digital good available within the platform. Depending on the purchase method, they may be assigned to a registered user account or stored locally on the device and in the browser of a user who is not logged in. Coins may be used only according to the functions and rules made available in Chesswood.

The user may buy Chesswood Coins in packages or variants currently available on the platform. Prices, package scope and currency are shown before purchase.

The user may buy Chesswood Coins either without logging in or while logged in to a registered account.

When coins are purchased without logging in, the coins are assigned locally to the specific device and browser. This means that access to the coins may be lost if cookies are deleted, browser history or browser data is cleared, the device is changed, the browser is changed, the device fails, or any other action causes the locally stored browser data to be lost. A user who purchases coins without logging in accepts this risk and understands that such a purchase is not assigned to a registered user account.

The purchase is processed according to the selected payment method. After proper payment confirmation, coins should be assigned according to the selected purchase method: to the registered user account or locally to the device and browser of a user who is not logged in.

• The user should use the platform in accordance with the law, these Terms and the purpose of the service.
• Cheating, automated gameplay, disrupting the system, breaching security or harming other users is prohibited.

The provider uses due care to keep the platform working properly and as continuously as possible, but the service may be subject to technical breaks, updates, infrastructure limitations or failures beyond the provider’s control.

The user may stop using the platform or request account deletion. The provider may limit or block an account in the event of a breach of the Terms, security rules or rights of others.

Complaints about the platform, account, payments, coins or digital services may be sent to support@chesswood.top. The report should describe the problem and include data needed for verification.

As a rule, used Chesswood Coins are not refundable. Individual cases, technical errors or mandatory consumer rights are considered under applicable law.

The provider may change the Terms for important reasons, especially changes to platform features, law, payment rules, security or service organization.

The Terms are governed by the laws applicable to the provider’s business and relevant consumer regulations. The current version is published in the service.
